How to get rid of dandruff overnight

Dandruff will appear on the scalp, which varies from a mild, patchy scaling to a thick, adherent crusts. Dandruff can be seen at any age, but mostly the males are affected predominantly throughout their life.

Medically the dandruff is most often a result of seborrheic dermatitis which is isolated to the scalp. There are many techniques and methods available to get rid of dandruff in overnight. Three of them are:

  • Use of the oil on the scalp,
  • Use of medications for overnight,
  • Stopover the using a hair care products,

Use of the oil on the scalp:

The process of using the oil on the scalp has 3 steps to follow, that are

  • Apply a warm mineral oil on the scalp,
  • Leave the oil on the scalp for several hours,
  • Wash the oil with the shampoo or a mild detergent,

Let us see these process in detail view.

Apply a warm mineral oil on the scalp:

If you are not familiar with keratolytic, then look for the substance which dissolves the dead skin cells, or looks for the urea, salicylic acid or sulfur in the ingredients list of your shampoo.

Salicylic Acid 1.8%-3%

Salicylic acid is available in the form of shampoo and foam. It functions by increasing the hydration of skin. Its mechanism may be lowering of the epidermal pH, producing an inflammation that allows skin to retain water. This artificially produced maceration causes the upper layer of the epidermis to shed. Stopover the using a hair care products:

If the dandruff flakes are small, thin, translucent which is found only on the hair, but not in the scalp, then they are the reaction of using hair styling products. If you found the paraphenylenediamine as an ingredient in your shampoo, that product may cause dandruff in your hair.

And also the products like hair dye which contains the alcohol content and harsh chemicals may cause dandruff in the scalp. Using of too many different products for the scalp also cause dandruff. So if you found any product which does not match with your scalp, then stopover the using of that product to get rid of dandruff.
